Today I am partnering with Abercrombie to share some casual holiday outfits for the family.  If you haven’t shopped at Abercrombie recently, they completely rebranded a couple years ago.  When I was a teenager Abercrombie was most well known for their sexy, shirtless, teenage models.   Not gonna lie, the cougar inside me sort of misses the shirtless male models, but I’m comforted by the cozy chic styles that replaced them.   If your style aligns with mine – you need to check out Abercrombie’s Fall and Winter fashion.  Today I am sharing casual holiday outfits for the family.

Casual Holiday Outfits for The Family

If you have been following my blog you know my style always gravitates back to cozy.  On Instagram stories I have been sharing more of my home (which I’ll be adding to the blog in the coming months) and again – it goes back to cozy.   So if you like cozy and casual style like I do – believe me you will like Abercrombie.

Abercrombie has a huge selection of timeless basics (think henley shirts, utility jackets, plaid flannel shirts).   You can see from what my son is wearing in the pictures below Abercrombie Kids also embraces more timeless wardrobe pieces as well.  Basic layers are what I always gravitate towards, and I love to see my kids in the same.   My son loves to wear character t-shirts and sweatpants but lately he’s been asking me to dress him because he likes the compliments he receives.

Are your holiday celebrations casual?

We are hosting Thanksgiving but traveling locally for Christmas.   On both holidays we do a lot of lounging and eating with the extended family so we wear casual holiday outfits.  On Christmas Eve and for occasional holiday parties that pop up we might wear dressier outfits (see these recent posts here and here for women’s holiday outfit ideas) but we’re otherwise casual.

I like to coordinate with my kids, and even more so, they like to match with my husband.  Abercrombie and Abercrombie Kids are a great place to shop for coordinated casual holiday outfits.   Twinning is winning – so I’m sharing some outfit ideas for the family below to get all matchy-matchy with each other.

I can’t say enough good things about the Abercrombie denim I have tried.   This pair of legging jeans has SO much stretch.   They’re high waisted so they don’t slide down or bag out.  I have been having the hardest time finding a staple white cami and this white cami ended my search.   It’s a simple yet essential staple to put under cardigans throughout the year.   I am wearing size S in the cami and small in the button down cardigan.

My little squish looks just like me!!   Below you can see I coordinated looks for the whole family similar to Mac’s cozy fleece jacket and plaid layers.   Something about red plaid just screams holiday time to me.

This is an example of how Abercrombie really nails the basics.   Their staple fleece jackets and plaid shirts look good on anyone of any age.   I added trendy camo sweatpants to give the look just enough interest.

More Causal Holiday Outfits For Mom

This look was HUGELY popular on my Instagram feed.  The velvet cami is PERFECT for the holiday and can be dressed up or down.   I am wearing size small in the velvet cami and cardigan.

Here I was lounging at home in some cozy basics.  I am a neutral lover and love to wear Winter white.   White jeans are very hard to find this time of year but I just got this pair of high waisted, white, skinny jeans and they’re PERFECT to wear all Winter with tunics and cardigans.

Would it be creepy if my husband wore this on the same day?   He might disown me if I don’t purchase him the sherpa sweatpants for Christmas.
