Closet Staples Under $50

closet staples under $50

I had gotten a request for pieces I thought were essential to build out a wardrobe so today’s post is about closet staples under $50.   A great tee can be dressed up or down and this one is only $17.  I have it in size small (it’s oversized) and knot it on the side.  Great denim is another everyday item and I have these pajama jeans (ie: denim leggings, I have XS for reference) in white and blue denim and these stay snug step hem jeans.

Denim

Footwear

Tops (I have the tunics in size XS)

Accessories (there are so many good/affordable necklaces here)

Some of these items are apart of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale that ends this week so shop soon if you want the sale price!  Shoes are the hardest thing to find under $50 but I rounded up some good sale options for Fall in this post.

As the weather cools down I have a cardigan obsession.   This cardigan, while not under $50, is a MUST HAVE, worth the splurge, I want to live in it sweater.

I’d love to hear what your favorite wardrobe basics are!  Thanks for stopping by 🙂

Awesome post! Since I’ve been reading this blog, neutral cardigans are also becoming a closet staple for me :). Now if I can only convince the husband to let me buy a few more things from the nsale….

I love this post. I have so many similar closet staples. I must own ten or twelve different white tee shirt ans I’m always buying another one. Just this morning I spilled coffee on one and though to myself, that’s ok I’ve had my eye on a new one anyway. Ha! Thaks for sharing!
