Today I am sharing holiday outfits with leggings in collaboration with Sole Society.
Holiday Outfits With Leggings
I like to call leggings my “food pants”. Around the holidays I think most of us tend to overeat. Holiday outfits with leggings comfortably accommodate the food baby. The stretchy waistband layered under an oversized sweater makes for the perfect outfit combo.
My collection of leggings is quite extensive (i.e.: excessive). I’m sharing two of my favorite pairs of leggings, one paired with heels, one paired with boots. Both combinations are great options for your next holiday gather.
Holiday Outfits with Leggings and Heels
I busted out my Spanx moto leggings to pair with these sexy studded patents heels. These heels sold out in a flash last year because of their price tag. If you’re considering them – I’d recommend you don’t hang around waiting for them to go on sale. I know – because I did that last year and missed out. These heels fit true to size and caused me no issues when I wore them out to a recent girls’ night out.
Leggings with heels is a slimming look and combined with a cozy, oversized sweater you can be comfortably chic at any of your holiday parties. This sweater (currently on sale) runs big (I’m wearing size XS). It’s slouchy so you’ll want a cute bralette or cami below it. I added a cashmere wrap on top for extra warmth. It’s been dropping into the 20’s in Connecticut lately at night – YIKES!
I think the satchel bag can be worn day to night but Sole Society also carries a lot of great clutches that are perfect to carry to holiday gatherings.

Holiday Outfits with Leggings and Knee High Boots
I’m excited that knee high boots are making a come back. Over the knee seemed to have taken over the last few years, but knee high boots are really flattering with leggings. The boots I am wearing are very popular and already selling out in some sizes. They also come in taupe and fit true to size. My friend was obsessing over these boots when I wore them out last week.
I’m wearing denim leggings here which are a much more comfortable alternative to button fly jeans. Have you ever unbuttoned your jeans after your holiday feast? Me neither ;), of course asking for a friend! I am wearing my usual size in these affordable denim leggings. My family dresses super casual for holiday gatherings so this would be something I could wear to Christmas dinner.
The neutral colors of this leopard scarf make it a bit more subtle than the usual animal print items you see. It’s big enough to wear over your shoulders as a wrap as well.
Crossbody bags are increasingly popular these days because they keep your hands free and hold just enough stuff without being overwhelming. This crossbody bag also comes in gray, and because it’s vegan leather it’s under $60.
