Cardigans are a SPRING staple. Ok, let’s be real, they are a year-round staple. I wear them all the time as the perfect layering pieces. I think one quick look at my Instagram will show you how much I love cardigans. So, today I’m sharing 7 cardigans you’re going to WANT in your closet.
1. Free People Woodstock Longline Cardigan
You’ll LOVE this comfy knitted cardigan from Free People. It’s cozy enough for lounging around the house but you can also dress it up. The cardigan is also long, about knee-length, so perfect for layering with leggings. I also love the chunky knitted style and the detail of the frayed wristed. Free People cardigans tend to run oversized. I am wearing XS above.
2. Super-Long Open-Front Sweater for Women
OK, maybe this cardigan doesn’t win awards for most inventive name, but it’s an awesome spring staple. I don’t just love the length, but it’s also a super lightweight sweater-knit material which means it’s not too heavy. also, oversized pockets!
3. Gibson Cozy Fleece Cardigan
You’ll LOVE this versatile cardigan – currently on sale for $27! It’s the coziest supersoft fleece and comes in five different colors. You can wear it with a stylish blouse or throw it on top of a casual tank top. A perfect layering piece for spring.
4. Sanctuary Lenox Camo Cardigan
I’ve shared this cardigan A TON, but it’s because I honestly wear it all the time. It’s the perfect combo of neutral and camo and can be worn so many different ways. It’s an investment piece but trust me you’ll wear it ALL the time. I suggest you size down in this cardigan because it’s very roomy.
5. Loft Rib Trim Pocket Open Cardigan
This cardigan has some class. It’s Wool-infused and the thick, ribbed material makes it look SO much more expensive than it is. It also has side slits which are a great detail on cardigans like this to add some movement. It comes in navy and grey.
6. Caslon Drape Collar Cardigan
How many pale, pink cardigans does one girl need? My husband and I have very different answers. But, I just HAD to have this slouchy knit cardigan (called beige online even though it’s pink in person). How could I turn it down? I just knew with the cozy knit, draped opening I’d get a ton of wear out of it. It also comes in a gray.
7. A New Day Women’s Cocoon Cardigan
An easy Spring basic and it’s SUPER affordable. This is a light cardigan, good for layering over dresses and camis but not overly warm. It comes in tons of colors for under $25!
You guys have banded together and we’ve made many of the cardigans above very low stock items so I wanted to share some other cute Spring cardigans that might catch your eye. Scroll through and click to shop any of the cardigans below.
As always thanks for reading!! I’ll be posting some Charity Closet Sale items tomorrow on my Facebook page, so stay tuned!
