Today I am sharing some of the Spring fashion trends that I think will be popular this year and where to shop them if your wardrobe budget is limited.  (You can also find a new post about Spring fashion trends here).

Embroidery is a popular trend going on right now.  Not that I shop a lot ;), but if I did, I would be noticing this trend on a lot of jackets, jeans, hats, and handbags.  My son actually some saw jeans in the women’s department at Nordstrom that had patches all over them and now he’s insisting he get a pair.  Trends like patches, ruffled sleeves, and velvet won’t be around for long so I shop for these types on items with a very small budget.

Shein is a great place to shop trendy items at super affordable prices.   The embroidered jacket I am wearing here is only $33.

Jacket |  Sweater  |  Bag |  Jeggings  |  Snow Boots

A classic sweater like this white turtleneck sweater is a place I could justify spending more because this is the type of sweater I wear on repeat in the Winter.   In my opinion this sweater is not very trendy.  I could wear this type of sweater for years.   That said – I have been a little discouraged lately that even some of my pricier sweaters are really pilling and showing wear very quickly.   Do you ever have this problem?  I found some similar sweaters to the one I am wearing above and many are on sale!

This embroidered utility jacket is one size.   That can be tricky but there is a drawstring on this one that cinches it in a bit.   I felt it was a little more roomy in the back than I needed but considering the price point I am happy with it.  Here are some other trendy embroidered jackets I saw while quickly browsing online:

My taupe satchel bag was my one year bloggiversary gift to myself.   My content was becoming so heavily fashion focused and I didn’t even own what I considered a perfect everyday handbag.   This satchel is not something I think is very trendy, so I invested in this handbag expecting I will be able to use it for many seasons to come. The Rebecca Minkoff satchel was a shape I had been eying for months but this particular bag struck me because I LOVE the color.  Or perhaps I should say lack of color.  Taupe is the perfect neutral.  It goes with gray and brown so there won’t be many outfits I can’t accessorize with this bag.

My Sorel snow boots have been my everyday footwear along with my Adidas rose gold sneakers ever since the snow started falling.  I need shoes with traction in this kind of weather because I am nervous I will slip and fall carrying one of my kids.

My sunglasses are a Burberry pair I have on loan from Ditto.   Did you know you can rent designer sunglasses?   It’s $24/month for unlimited designer sunglasses, switch out your pair any time!  I have been loving this pair so I haven’t even switched since I joined.  Use code PINTERESTINGPLANS to get a free month!

I have shared many outfits from Shein and I think it’s a great place to shop affordable Spring fashion trends.  I also find affordable trendy pieces at Target, H & M,  and Forever21.  Some other trends (many of which carried over from last year) I think will be hot in the next few months include:

  1. metallic sneaker accents
  2. ruffled sleeves and hemlines
  3. embellished cluthes
  4. embroidered tops
  5. slides (especially loafers)
  6. one shouler tops
  7. lace up everything will continue
  8. blush pink everything (I’ll be sharing a few pieces later this week)

What trends do you think will be hot this Spring?
