Are You Catchin’ or Fishin’?

Thank you to Backcountry and Shopstyle Collective for sponsoring today’s post.

Since moving to a warmer climate we have picked up more and more outdoor hobbies. One that Mac has taken to is fishing. We insist on calling it fishing because we are rarely catching ?. I have been trying to get Cam into the pastime since we live on a coastal dune lake that is perfect for fishing and today I am partnering with Backcountry to share some of our new gear. Don’t forget to use my code PLANSBC for 15$ off your first purchase (some exclusions apply).

If you saw last month we recently grabbed a Bote inflatable paddle board from Backcountry and they also have tons of fishing gear. We had poles but I wanted a larger cooler backpack to keep us hydrated while we are out in the sun. This Stoic hybrid backpack cooler has great reviews and is on sale now! It would make a great Father’s Day gift.

Cam is fairer than Mac so I grabbed him this Sunday Afternoons Ultra Adventure hat and RVCA Opposites Elastic quick dry shorts to pair with these comfy kids UGG Sport Yeah sandals. Now Chris wants a pair because they’re so cushiony and easy to throw on and rinse clean off sand.

My Teva ReEmber Moc sneakers are also easy to throw on. They almost feel like socks they’re so comfy to throw on and fit true to size. My Under Armour Play It Up 3.0 shorts (wearing small) are almost sold out in the blue but other colors are available or find another cute blue pair of shorts here. The Varley Chapman Tank (wearing size small, similar tank linked here) has a lined shelf bra so it’s perfect for light activity like fishing!

If you like fishing (or catching) you can check out fishing gear at Backcountry here.
