Backcountry Beach Day

Thank you to Backcountry and Shopstyle for sponsoring this post

My boys recently decided they wanted to start a business renting out a paddle board to local visitors. For Easter, the Bunny ordered them a BOTE Breeze Aero Paddle Board from Backcountry. Marissa and I decided we should up our SUP (stand up paddle board) skills if we are going to help them with their business. We took the morning to get a in a workout and try our hand (and balance) at some paddle boarding. Can you believe this is our backyard?!

I’ve also got a code PLANSBC for 15% off your first full price purchase (some exclusions do apply) at Backcountry.

The beach is a quick jog so instead of wearing my bathing suit I wore this quick dry Girlfriend Collective Girlfriend Collective Skort and Basin and Range Bra Top . If you’re between sizes go up in the skort. I put it to the real test when I fell in the water during paddle boarding! I’m a big fan of these types of skorts for not only my beach activities but also when we play tennis, pickle ball, or just running errands. You can grab my Free People Dani Tank Top (relaxed fit, like Free People usually is), Basin and Range Bra Top (TTS), and Hydro Flask from Backcountry as well, they are my go-to for outdoor gear.

I’ve heard great things about the ON running shoes so I gave these On Cloudulta Trail Running Shoes a go. They have tons of other color way options but these go with most everything. They are great for a medium to narrow foot. My sneakers are for trail running but Backcountry carries a variety of the ON Cloud sneakers for both men and women.

Marissa and I had a lot of fun giving paddle boarding a try and supporting the boys. She especially had some laughs as I managed to fall in the COLD water a couple of times. In my defense, it was very windy this day! If you want to catch some funny footage from our day, come join us on Instagram stories where all the fun is shared.

Backcountry carries tons of warm weather gear and garb for all of the outdoor adventures you have planned in the next few months. I even grabbed this Ruffwear Cooler Vest for Dune.

Hope you are enjoying some sunny days this week like we are! Thanks for stopping by.
