You probably know by now that I’m not really into designer fashion. While I love playing with different trends, my style is a little more casual. I’m always looking for wallet friendly ways to rock casual trends. I’m not like a regular mom, you know, I’m a cool mom ?. Faux Leather Leggings
You can’t go wrong with black faux leather leggings in my book. This pair is affordable and you can dress them up or down. They look more like real leather than the pair I hear most talked about on the gram. If you’re wondering what shoes to pair with leather leggings, I’m showing how I pair them with sneakers and booties.
This sweater is AWESOME. Even better than I expected. It’s super soft and not itchy. The ribbon ties and ruffle cuffs give it a feminine feel. I’m wearing xs.

Loving this sweater! Tunic sweater with faux leather leggings – an easy outfit to put together for date night. I like that it falls off of one shoulder and has an asymmetrical hem. It is oversized so I would go down if you’re in between sizes. The slouchy booties pair well with leggings, skinny jeans or tights.

Top Coat
A quality top coat is a fall closet staple that you can take into winter for years to come. They are a great piece to layer with. You can wear it over a dressy top or a sweater, as I did, and then pair the coat with leggings (outfit above) or jeans (outfit below). It’s an easy piece that puts together an outfit.
This coat is gorgeous. It does have a liner, but it’s not super warm. Again, it’s awesome for layering. I’m wearing xs. I would go down if you are in between sizes.

Statement Sweater
I’m seeing a lot of all sorts of little twists of classic sweater styles that make them unique right now. This sweater has a ruffle neck detail and balloon sleeves that just gives it a little something extra. At the moment, it’s nearly sold out in all sizes, but it does come in black and ivory. Express has lots of statement making sweaters for fall 2020. I’ll link some of my favorites here:

Straight Leg Jeans
I love a relaxed fit jean this fall. While my skinny jeans will always be a staple, there’s something awesome about the cool and casual look of relaxed straight leg jeans. The problem is some jeans are a little TOO loose and you end up looking and feeling frumpy if you don’t wear the right things on top. But, this pair from Express offers that relaxed look and feel, without being too loose. I’m wearing my usual size and they are snug and loose in all the right places. Slide loafers are cute shoes to pair with straight leg jeans. I’ve had this pair for two years, and they are a favorite.
