Whenever I post photos or our living room on Instagram our Crate and Barrel Lounge II sofa always get a lot of questions about the color, comfort, and durability. We bought the lounge sofa over 5 years ago so I’ve had plenty of time to formulate my opinion, which is, THAT IS IS AWESOME!
shop the room:
The Lounge 2 sofa is quite deep. It’s definitely a sofa for lounging on. We don’t eat or do work on the sofa because it’s most comfortable when you lounge back and watch a show or just hang out.
The upholstery we selected (Taft Cement) is SOOO durable. I have two little boys who have been hopping all over this sofa for close to 6 years now and it still looks new! It repels or hides almost everything from dirty feet to spills. The cushion covers can be removed and washed, while the arms of the sofa can only be spot cleaned.
I made a little mood board below of the smaller version of our sofa (the petite lounge sofa) which I am considering for our new home in Florida. My plan would be to again chose the Taft Cement upholstery because it’s held up so well in our current home.
shop the room:
Make sure to measure your room! I think some people underestimate how deep the Lounge II sofa is but if it’s on your list I would say GET IT! So comfy and durable I think it is worth the price given how long it will last you.
