Decorating a Fall Porch with Koolaburra Boots

Last year Mac and I decorated our shed for the holidays in a post we did with Koolaburra boots and this year it’s our back porch.  We have a short window of fall decorating because I put up our Christmas decorations on November 1.

Simple Fall Porch Decorating in Koolaburra Boots

We love Koolaburra boots because they’re like getting to wear slippers outside.  So whenever we have a weekend hanging around the house catching up on yard work or decorating for fall you know we will be wearing them.   I love that they have so many cute mommy and me options that aren’t just for girls.

For our back porch I kept the fall decor pretty simple.   You might know I love neutrals – so I steered away from bright orange pumpkins.   These back steps were just added as part of our home renovation.   They lead from our living room out to our patio/fire pit where my kids love to roast s’mores late into the fall.

The weather seems to have turned so quickly here in Connecticut, so we have already gotten and lot of use out of our Koolaburra boots.   They have a toasty warm lining and while I wanted the bow trim boots I grabbed the more gender neutral button detail Kinslei boots for Mac and I.

Speaking of toasty – Koolaburra also carries slippers!!  The Koolaburra boots I wore in last year’s blog post are no longer available but I can tell you they were one of my most worn pairs of footwear last Winter.   So comfy and I love that there are no laces on most of their boots.   Throw on and go styles are a game changer for a mom like me who is not a morning person and always rushing out the door.

I just about died laughing when Chris saw this doormat I ordered for the holidays.   Ironically  he’s the best behaved one in the house – but also the best sense of humor so I couldn’t wait for his first reaction.   When do you put up your holiday decor?  I do the bulk of it November 1 every year.
