Fall Wedding Guest Dresses
It’s hard to believe it but wedding season isn’t over! For many of us, we still have a handful of weddings ahead of us this year. I have one in early November. Fall weddings are very popular around here as the leaves change and you get that pretty fall foliage. But, I know they are popular other places because the unbearable summer heat has started to simmer down. So, today I’m rounding up some great ideas for fall wedding guests.
I broke the dresses down into a few categories to give you some variety depending on your style and the style of the wedding. These dresses are great if your a guest of a fall wedding, but also good for any other upcoming special events as we get into the holiday season. Can you believe the holiday season is almost here?!
Short and Sweet Dresses
The first style is a short and sweet fall wedding guest dress options. Perfect if you’re attending a wedding somewhere that the temperature hasn’t dropped too much yet and you want to show a little leg! Many of these come in great fall colors like wine and emerald green.
The fit and flare style like this Lulus skater dress or the lace and chiffon dress are figure flattering and look great when you’re on the dance floor. If you’re looking for a flattering neckline the Lulus strappy back dress is classic in the front with an AMAZING strappy back detail.
Little Black Dress
It’s hard to go wrong in a little black dress. Not only are they timeless, but let’s be honest… black looks good on everyone. Plus, it allows you to have some fun with your accessories if you want. I love pairing a pop of color with black (like bright earrings) or adding a pattern (like leopard shoes.)
Opt for something trendy like the Zara off-the-shoulder sweater dress that boasts flared sleeves. Or, if you want something even more dramatic this puffed sleeve black dress is a statement piece! If classic is more your style this scalloped sheath dress is elegant and timeless. Another classic look is this amazing velvet wrap dress. Wrap dresses are flattering on most body types and the velvet makes it perfect for fall and into winter while the ruffle detail makes it perfect for a special occasion.
Everything In Between
If you’re the kind of person who likes to wear something a little different (or this is your umpteenth wedding of the year and you want to try something fun), you’ll like one of these. The “everything in between” dresses offer a ton of variety. If you’re looking for soft and sweet this tiered ruffle floral dress is chic, feminine, and sophisticated. If you want something a little sexy without showing too much skin a midi dress can be a great option because it shows your figure without giving it all away (if you know what I mean!) This Michael Stars midi dress has ruched sides as well so it’s super figure flattering around that mid-section area! If easy, breezy comfort is more your style, try this fit and flare midi dress made of a super comfy jersey fabric but still looks insanely chic and feminine.
What’s your wedding guest style? Do you like to go for something classic and timeless or do you use it as an excuse to wear something fun and trendy?
