Five (more) Ways to Rock Pink for Fall

pink cardigan for Fall

When fall first started, I shared a post with ideas for how to wear pinks in the fall. You guys really loved that post so I wanted to follow up with a sequel! If you’ve been reading Pinteresting Plans for a while you know I LOVE pinks, especially blush.  Even though they aren’t always considered a fall color, I think they can totally work for the autumn months. In this post, I’m sharing 5 ways you can rock more pink for fall in collaboration with Abercrombie!

Abercrombie and Fitch, as many of you know, is one of my go-to spots for some of my favorite staples like jeans, jackets, and everyday tops. This year their fall/winter items have been spot-on!   I love how they’ve incorporated textures like velvet and sherpa into so many pieces.  If you haven’t peaked around at Abercrombie in awhile I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by their cute and cozy clothes.

A simple way to wear more pinks for fall is to accessorize with pink. This chunky plaid scarf is the perfect shade of pink (I liked it so much, I painted my back door the same color).  What I love about this scarf is that oversized look and feel, but you’re not drowning in it like you do with blanket scarves. So, it’s that perfect happy medium. It’s also not itchy.

I’m also wearing it with my Abercrombie white ribbed henley I use this top for layering all season long. You can wear it alone or layer it under cardigans.  For reference I am wearing size small above (I normally bounce between XS and Small).

Playful Pops of Pink

To wear pink for fall you don’t have to go for a FULL pink. The pops of pink tones in this sweater are a great way to wear the color without committing to full pink! I’m wearing the sweater in my normal size, XS, for reference.  Again, I love that it’s soft and not itchy like some knits can be. I love the off the shoulder style because I wear it with some of my favorite bralettes or a strapless bra if I’m feeling brave.

I’m wearing it with some of my go-to denim leggings. These leggings run true to size and have that locked-and-loaded high-waisted feeling I love.  Even though I am 5’11” I opt for the regular length because I like an ankle fit in skinny jeans (to pair with fall booties).  They are high-quality (mine are a year old) and hold their shape really well but are so comfortable to wear and easy to move in.  I will give you a tip that if you go for a dark wash like I have, wash them 1-2 times first so the color doesn’t transfer or bleed.   These feel like leggings (and have no true front pockets) but have a button and zip fly for the look of true jeans.

Cozy Pink Cardigan

Chunky cardigans aren’t going anywhere this fall, so getting one in a pink tone is the perfect way to bring some pink into your fall style. This chunky, pink cardigan is oversized and super cozy.  I’m wearing a size XS and you will LOVE how soft it is. I love that you can dress it down as I did, but because of the detailing, you could also dress it up a little more too.

I’m wearing it with this simple lace time tank, which is a staple layering piece. I wear it under cardigans as I have it here, or use it for under a flannel or chambray shirt. Either way, it’s a piece you’ll get a TON of wear out of (I’m wearing size small for reference).

Muted Blush Tones

If you don’t want to go for FULL ON pink, a muted blush is perfect. This lace-trimmed cami comes in a ton of color options, but I think this blush is super soft and feminine and perfect for fall. It also has adjustable straps which I love with camis like this. Sometimes straps are too loose and then you end up falling out of the top – which just isn’t the look I’m going for if you know what I mean!  At 36, I’m falling enough already thanks to gravity, and don’t need to share that in public ?!

I paired it with this hooded cardigan that has some nice length to it, so it’s perfect to wear with your favorite leggings/jeggings.   For reference I’m wearing XS in the cami and cardigan.

Pink-Toned Outerwear

If you really want to embrace pink, then opting for a full pink jacket is a great way to go. This ultra-cozy sherpa jacket is one of my favorites. I like to pair it with some cozy joggers and wear it on days I’m working from home.   So yes, this is my Monday to Friday uniform ?. The jacket is meant to be oversized and does run big, so you could consider sizing down.  I’m wearing a size XS. I love that these joggers come in blush velvet! They also run true to size (wearing XS).

That does it for my 5 (more) tips for wearing pink this fall. These would also work great for winter too! If you’re looking for some great fall style, Abercrombie & Fitch has so many great options and a HUGE sale going on right now. They have some of my favorite jeans/leggings as well as classic, staples cardigans and camis!
