I’m calling this holiday gift guide: gifts for guys in their 30’s. Really, they are gifts guys in many decades of life would love. What you can expect to find below are my picks of things that I’ve noticed my husband uses regularly with the exception of one particular item I’m getting him not because it’s on his wishlist, but more for my sake. You’ll see below.
I’ve also kept in this post last year’s men’s gift guide which I had my husband and brother share their top picks if you wanted to check out that below too. I hope you guys enjoy!
Shoes – the Cole Haan shoes are like a hybrid sneaker dress shoe combo. As fashion continues to trend more casual, I think these will increase even more in popularity. I also linked some Amazon boots that my husband has that are AWESOME and such a great price.
Ear Buds Wireless Headphones – my husband uses these every single day to talk on the phone and for exercising.
Athlete Recovery Sleepwear – I’ve been suggesting these as a gift for years because my husband swears they help him bounce back from a tough workout faster. They’re a bit pricy but he has been wearing his every single night for years.
Tall Pajama Pants – my husband is right on the cusp of needing tall sizes. My brother on the other hand is 6’6″ and is not well served by standard length lounge pants. They both have this plaid pair and they’re awesome. If you’re shopping for a tall guy, Nordstrom also offer’s tall sweaters that my friend’s husband swears by.
The Beard King – my husband is getting this not because he wants it, but because his wife will stop shaming him for leaving the bathroom vanity a pool of stubble. I’m so excited for this gift.
Yard Games – again, I’m equally excited for these types of gifts. these are 3 that you guys recommended. We will probably set up the bottle knock off game in the basement for the winter months.

Last Year’s Gifts for Him – Selected by Men in Their 30’s
So I asked my brother and husband to help me make selections for a holiday gift guide last year. I wanted to poke fun at my brother as last year was his last year he can pick gifts for this category. He turned the big 4-0 and I’m a few years behind so I only have a short window to razz him.
All of these items were hand picked by either Pete (my 39 year old brother) or Chris (my 36 year old husband). I was pleasantly surprised by how much thought they put into these gift ideas.
Below are the items each 30 something selected. You can click on the item to be directed to the retailer:
I hope this gift guide was helpful because I find guys to be the hardest to shop for. Next year rather than gifts for guys in their 30’s I’m thinking we might title it “Gifts for Guys in a Mid-Life Crisis” – what do you say, Pete?!
Make sure to check out my holiday shop where I’ll be adding even more gift guides over the coming weeks. Thanks for stopping in!!
