Marissa’s Outfit: Blazer (xl) // Bodysuit (large) // Jeans
I’m excited to have Marissa joining me in today’s post to share ideas for styling this sequin blazer for the holidays. If you missed it, Marissa moved down to Florida to work with me in person. I’m thrilled to have her!! I have a lot of vision, but was looking for someone to help with implementation and sharing outfit inspiration on another body type.
SHOP MY OUTFIT:
This festive blazer is a boyfriend fit, I am wearing size XS and Marissa is wearing XL (but likely could have done a Large as well). It’s an easy piece to throw on over items you might already have in your closet like a classic slip dress (this one from Express is as great as the reviews suggest) or jeans and a bodysuit.

Express has so many denim styles and sizes both Marissa and I have pairs we LOVE! Their skinny jeans have so much stretch, they do not get baggy with wear. I always opt for the “long” styles.
I got creative in an effort to dress cozy by styling these velvet joggers with a black velvet bodysuit. It’s like a jumpsuit without having to completely disrobe in the bathroom. These velvet joggers are super easy to dress down as well and they’re SO SOFT! I am wearing XS in both pieces.

As I mentioned above this slip dress is FABULOUS. It’s something you can keep in your closet for many years and across all seasons. It comes in more festive colors or stick with neutrals, like me! I find it fits true to size, I am wearing size XS.
