If you followed our most recent Disney trip on my Instagram stories you saw some funny moments surrounding the Little Mermaid pool party we had.    Perhaps my husband wouldn’t have initially even called it a party.  I surprised him with two HUGE pool rafts that I kindly asked him to inflate.   Luckily the staff at our hotel saw him struggling and stepped in with a blow-up pump which saved the day!  So many of you messaged me asking where you could find these Little Mermaid pool party goodies and TODAY they were just released for sale.   You will not believe all the fun Little Mermaid goodies shopDisney has available.  This post is a paid collaboration with Disney.

Little Mermaid Pool Party

My boys became obsessed with The Little Mermaid after we visited Magic Kingdom in February and went on “Ariel’s Undersea Adventure”.   Prior to that they weren’t familiar with the movie because it’s currently in “The Vault”.    Do you know about that vault?   It is so mysterious it intrigues me.   Disney puts movies in the vault for 5-7 years during which time you cannot purchase them in stores (or online).   We have the VHS tape of the Little Mermaid but no VHS player.    Do people even remember what VHS stands for these days?   I don’t ????.

So anyways my kids haven’t actually watched the full movie yet, but they have heart eyes for Ariel.   You can imagine their excitement when I told them we were having our own Little Mermaid pool party while we were staying in Disney World.  You have to see all the cute Little Mermaid gear on shopDisney!!

The pool floats were the biggest hit.   The Flounder and Sebastian rafts were big enough to hold my husband or I; or both kids at once.  We also had small pool floats that held drink cups if we wanted to float around with our smoothies alongside us.
