Long Torso Swim
I know many people dread this time of year when it comes to swimsuit shopping. While I have had the occasional luck with budget friendly suits from Amazon, I am a big fan of a splurge worthy staple swimsuit. Since we have made the beach our home, this was a high priory for me when it came to fashion finds that would suit our new lifestyle. With Marissa down here now too we have enjoyed sharing our passion for making any heigh and size woman feel confident in what they are wearing, swim is no exception!
Even though I am 5’11” and Marissa is 5’5”, we both have long torsos which can add some complexity to an already daunting process. We’re hoping to make it more enjoyable for you by sharing our tried and true long torso finds. I wear an XS long torso l in all of these and Marissa is in a 14 long torso in her picks (both TTS). If you’re reading this and don’t have a long torso, all of our picks come in regular length as well!
Rachel’s Favorite Long Torso Swim
Many of y’all have loved this swimsuit just as much as I have! The cut of it is so unique and I love the added coverage on the tops of my shoulders without sacrificing the look. This is a perfect suit to go from the beach to dinner (or the beach bar) since it can pass for a body suit when you throw a skirt or pair of jean shorts on over it. While the white color was my choice this swimsuit also comes in navy, black, and red. This brand has quickly become a favorite of mine. Their designs are simple and classic. I also love this white one and this lavender one.
Marissas Favorite Long Torso Swim
I have always been a quality over quantity gal when it comes to my swimsuits. Finding a swimsuit with the length and bust support can be a challenge but I am beyond pleased with the two suits I settled on for this season. I first got this blue suit after seeing it on another mid-sized gal and she rocked it. The pattern is flattering, the support is there, and the straps are adjustable! The color is also stunning, I am hooked on these shades of blue this season! Since I loved this suit so much I went back to try a couple more from the same brand (Summersalt) and this black one was another winner. V-neck and tie waist is SO flattering on a curvy gal, take my word! This one has a bit more skin showing but still modest enough for me. A friend of ours has and loves this popular style from the same brand. I love it too but if you have a little more meat on your bones I found it to not be as flattering on the back as I’d like.
