Mother’s Day Gift Ideas for the Mom that Loves Quality Time

Most of my loved ones know my love language is quality time. I know this can be tough for those who have a different love language or enjoy gifting so I thought I would share some ideas for the moms who, like myself, love quality time! Whether you’re looking for your mom or looking to share ideas with your family, I hope the below ideas inspire you!

Backyard Picnic

I know many of you don’t have the beach nearby but this would be just as fun in the backyard or local park. We grabbed some items from The Home Depot to make it a little more special. The blanket really added a cute touch, don’t you think? And we’ll definitely keep it around for future beach days. The picnic basket made for an easy pack, especially since we have a little bit of a walk. It came with glasses, a wine opener, a small cheese board, napkins and a Tupperware. I’d love this setup for a future date night just as much as a Mother’s Day gift!

Breakfast in Bed

Such an easy idea to give the kids and an excuse to hang in bed just a little longer on Mother’s Day! We use this tray for breakfast in bed too. It’s sturdy so no spills on my white sheets. Chris and the kids love to make SkinnyTaste muffins so I’ll be hinting at this idea in the future!

Wine, Cheese, and Game Night

Is wine and cheese a love language? I know many of you would argue, yes! Gift a nice wine opener (something you never want to splurge on for yourself) and a cheese board with a note or ticket for an evening at-home game night. At our house we love playing monopoly. Sometimes it goes on for days!

I hope these ideas have inspired you. Feel free to share this post as a nudge to your husband or kids that there is nothing greater than the gift of time spent with them! For more Mother’s Day ideas check out the The Home Depots Mother’s Day section on their website.
