Have you struggled to find no show underwear?    Since I wear a lot of white I often get questions about how I hide my bra or undies from showing through my clothes.  There’s a fine line between underwear that fits snug enough to stay in place and that which causes overflow issues.   Boob or bun spillage is not going to become trendy any time soon.   Today I’m sharing tips for finding no show under garments in collaboration with Soma.

Tips for Finding No Show Underwear

Unflattering undergarment situations I’ve personally experienced:

• colored panties that show through white pants
• pantie lines half way down the bum cheek
• a panty line muffin top under leggings
• boob spillage/overflow lines in the bust area
• back fat hanging over the band and showing through the back of a fitted top
• t-shirts bunching over lacy bra cups

Tips for No Show Panties

• Buy panties as close to your natural skin color as possible (for me that’s light nude).
• Don’t purchase panties that are too small or too low waisted – muffin tops are not trending.
• Soma makes vanishing edge panties that have thin silicone, no-slip strips that hold the edge of the panty in place.  This is a great option for people who find thong panties uncomfortable.

Tips For No Show Bras

• Get the correct band size – this has made the biggest difference for me.  Having a band that fits snug and doesn’t shift around gives a more flattering fit under fitted tops.  To get a no show bra I went down from the band size I thought was my correct size.
• Cups that are too big or too small will show through your top.   I find full coverage bras give a more seamless edge.
• Again – purchase a color as close to your skin color as possible (for me this is light nude).
• Soma makes a Vanishing Back Bra that has a wider band with targeted zones that smooth the troublesome areas of the back that tend to spill over in many bras.
• I avoid lace bras under T-shirts and fitted tops.  I find satin or cotton bras don’t look bunchy which can happen with lace bras.
• My preference is also for a light lining so my nipples don’t offend anyone ????.
