To all my beauty junkies, today’s post is for you! I’m partnering with Nordstrom to share my top holiday beauty gifts while they still ship free to land under your tree. Nordstrom has beauty gifts at every price range from anti aging gadgets and serums to hair care and tools galore. They also have the most amazing customer service so if you have any issues with your purchases they make customer satisfaction a highest priority.
I mentioned in my personal holiday wishlist post that I’d be asking for a silk pillowcase. Would you believe Santa already delivered?! I have been using a silk pillowcase for about 2 years now and it definitely makes a difference in my bed head….as in I barely get bedhead compared to when I used a cotton pillowcase. I also don’t wake up with the crease lines on my face since switching to a silk pillowcase.
Along with the Slip Pillowcase I grabbed their Silk Skinny Scrunchies. A little over a year ago I had a TON of breakage on the top layer of my hair and I haven’t used a traditional hair elastic since. I like that the skinny scrunchies aren’t such a statement on my wrist when I take my hair down. Silk makes tons of scrunchie options that Nordstrom carries here.
Nordstrom has some great beauty sets and tools that are special holiday edition sets!
- Living Proof Dry Blast – my hair is silky, straight and FLAT! I use their Volume Blast to boost my roots – particularly when my hair is clean.
- Tula Skincare – I love Tula Products, my personal favorites being the toner and eye balm. Nordstrom carries lots of Tula starter sets on special for the holidays. This is a great way to try several products at once without the commitment of a full bottle.
- PMD Home Microderm Device – perfect for someone who has dry, slothing-off skin in the winter…that would be me ?♀️! This is one of my favorite tools for exfoliating.
- Makeup Eraser Towel – I use this every single night to take off my makeup with only water before I wash my face. For the holidays Nordstrom is selling a set of 2 for just over the price I paid for one. I wish I had a backup because on laundry day I’m in a tizzy trying to find my makeup eraser in a laundry basket overflowing with clean clothes and towels.
If you’re not familiar with Neulash it’s an eyelash enhancing serum I discovered a few years ago. In about 4 weeks times it almost doubled the length of my eyelashes when I first started using it. I’m actually on a bit of a holiday from using the Neulash at the moment. My eyelashes were so long my hooded lids were resting on my mascara and making a mess. I have had friends tell me other lash serums irritated their eyes, but I’ve never had issues with the Neulash brand. Nordstrom is offering a free travel size bottle with purchase of this holiday set.
Nordstrom has lots of NudeStix holiday sets. If you’re not familiar with NudeStix they started as lip and cheek color pencils in great nude colors. They’ve expanded to other makeup now, but their lip crayons are my favorite. They have lots of matte options but my preference in the winter is the Gel color because it’s more moisturizing.
I wear these Butter Socks almost everyday in the winter and I mention them as a beauty item because if you’re plagued by “winter feet” (dry and/or cracked) these can help. I cover my feet with caster oil (available at any drug store) and then wear these socks over them to bed. The caster oil is super greasy so you’ll want thick socks like Butter Socks to protect your bedding.
These socks are great with boots too and Nordstrom has a buy more save more option with their Butter Socks ($12 each or 3 for $30).
Last but not least – my favorite self tanner for winter. In the summer I am a fan of spray tans, but I don’t show enough skin in the winter that it’s worth it for me in the cold months. I have been using the St. Tropez express foam for a few years. In my opinion you have to use the application mitt to get an even tan and keep up with it on a regular basis so you’re not starting from ground zero each time you want a tan. I apply self tanner right after a shower 1-2 times a week in the winter months. Shop St. Tropez holiday specials here.
