When I mention AMAZON everyone’s ears seem to perk up! Amazon is known for the convenience they’ve brought to online shopping and they just introduced a new styling service for Prime Members called “Personal Shopper by Prime Wardrobe”. Wait until you hear all that this subscription service offers for only $4.99 a month!

I tried the service for myself so I think it’s easiest if I just tell you the easy step by step process I followed:

1. First I Created A Style Profile

This helped the stylist get to know me and my style preferences. From occasions I’m dressing for to styles I do and do not gravitate towards, this quick survey got the stylist in line with my tastes. The survey also ask about your desired price points

2. Customize The Requests

Soon I will be shopping for holiday party outfits, but for now I’m looking for outfits for the mom job so I let my stylist know that!

3. Preview The Picks

My stylist selected the items she or he thought I would like and I picked 6 (it’s possible to select up to 8) to try on at home.

4. Deciding What To Buy

Amazon allows prime members a week to decide what’s a keeper and what isn’t. For Prime members returns are free and easy!

What I LOVE About This Service

Lately I have been taking less fashion risks. I tend to gravitate towards the same types of outfits so I love that an Amazon stylist can come in and put a fresh set of stylish eyes on my wardrobe. Pieces I wouldn’t normally reach for are free to try on in the comfort of my home. This opens the door for me to unexpectedly fall in love with something I’d otherwise probably brush passed thinking it might not look good on me.

If you’re a busy career woman, mom, or just don’t love picking out clothes this service is really convenient and at such an affordable price. If you’re not a Prime member already you can sign up here and try it for free for 30 days and give the Personal Shopper by Prime Wardrobe service a try as well!

Some of the items my Personal Shopper picked for me:

fall transition dress personal styllist for prime wardrobe - pinteresting plans connecticut fashion blog
Moon River Off The Shoulder Pom Dress (XS)

This off the shoulder dress would be really cute with booties or high boots for a concert or outdoor event. Bring a jacket (as shown below) for the cool evenings this time of year.

Daily Ritual Tencel Utility Dress (true to size, wearing 2)

You will see a tan colored tank top my stylist sent me as well on my clothing rack. The back is very open so I just felt like it wasn’t something I would wear any time soon so I easily returned this piece.

Prime Wardrobe

If you prefer to pick your own pieces you can utilize the benefits of Prime Wardrobe and choose your own pieces. Choose up to 8 items and only pay for what you decide to keep. As with all Prime orders – free and easy returns!

What do you guys think? Do you prefer to pick you own pieces or is a styling service something you’d be open to? I’d love to hear from you below!
