Samsung Galaxy S20 Phone Camera Review

If you use your camera phone nearly as much as I do you may be curious to learn about the pros and cons of each camera phone. I recently grabbed a certified refurbished Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra phone from eBay to test out the camera.

As a content creator I take hundreds of photos every week on my phone so I’m always looking for the best and most streamlined equipment. My husband had told me that his favorite podcaster, Joe Rogan, has been raving about the camera on the Samsung Galaxy phones.

I grabbed a Samsung certified refurbished Galaxy S20 Ultra from eBay in like new condition. You can get Samsung certified refurbished Galaxy Buds+ on eBay as well for up to 50% off the price of new items without sacrificing quality.

much truer color was picked up on the Samsung phone

Here is what I quickly noticed about the camera:

  • better contrast in low light settings
  • better zoom images (slightly crisper images with truer color at up to 10X zoom)
  • I loved the “Single Take” feature (described below)

Single Take is a Samsung technology first introduced on the S20 phones. When you use Single Take, you tap the shutter once and move around a bit to capture the moment from different angles.  You can capture up to 10 seconds, and you’ll get a variety of styles, angles, and formats created automatically. All you have to do is be in the moment to get different kinds of shareable options in your Gallery.

In bright light I did not notice a huge difference between my current camera phone and the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra but if you shoot in low light or zoom often it did perform better in my opinion.
