Hi guys!!  Today I’m sharing how I decorated our mudroom for the holidays in collaboration with eBay.   You may have seen me mention on Instagram that the company that built our mudroom cabinets shut down before they finished our kitchen renovation.    So at some point I’ll be sharing some kitchen updates – but for now – the mudroom.

Holiday Mudroom Decor

Our mudroom isn’t actually a room.   I wanted the space we added to the back of our house to be very bright and open.   I considered doing lockers with baskets, but ultimately the cabinet maker made the decision to put doors on everything.   If your family is like mine – this is probably for the best – it keeps the clutter contained.

Just over a year ago I grabbed this UGG sweatshirt poncho on eBay when it was sold out everywhere else.   Not only that – I got it for 15% less than the retail price.  My hard to find Spanx camo leggings are also available on eBay in new condition.  Prior to last year I didn’t realize eBay had so many NEW and hard to find fashion items and now I’m sharing that they also have so many great home items you can grab for the holidays.

I just got this jute runner and I love it so much I’m considering getting a larger one for my family room.

This “NOEL” burlap banner is simple and very affordable.  It would look cute hung from a mantle as well.   The eucalyptus wreath is a piece you can put up early in fall and continue to enjoy through the holidays.   It’s like neutral fall/winter decor.   I get a lot of people who don’t like that I decorate for the holidays so early and I feel like I could argue the eucalyptus wreath is not full-on holiday decor.  With that said – other people complaining about my decorations has never stopped me from rushing them up after Halloween ?.

We are hosting a lot of guests over the holidays so I’m going to need another one of these copper boot trays.   I had a hard time finding a boot tray that wasn’t plastic and then saw this copper tray embossed with a moose and snow and had to have it.

These popular Nordic boots in the photo above are available at a great price on eBay.  Last year they sold out before Winter and many people were disappointed they couldn’t get their hands on them.

I wanted faux mini wreaths (similar, more options here) because I cannot be trusted to vacuum up pine needles on a regular basis.   I did ask for one of these cordless Dyson vacuums  for Christmas, but I still think I’ll opt for faux greenery next year as well.

The bench seat opens for additional storage but I covered it with an affordable piece of faux sheepskin to make it a bit cozier (and protect the paint).   My pillows are old, but eBay has almost the exact same plaid pillow and a similar “always stay humble and kind” pillow for sale now.
