Whether it’s in the form of a shoulder or crossbody strap, the one thing I never leave the house without is a tote bag – roomy enough to carry the everyday essentials and then some. It has officially been feeling like fall in Connecticut so I have been bringing out the layers and scarves. I’ll be sharing two casual fall outfits as well as two bags I have been carrying lately. When shopping for sweaters for fall, one thing I look at is the length. I want it to be long enough to wear with leggings – this one fits the bill. I recommend going up one if you’re in between sizes. The scarf is super soft and warm. I also love the fringe detail at the ends. These jeans are one of my favorites because they fit true to size and holds their shape so well ( and they’re on sale this weekend!!). The rest of my outfit is from Sole Society. The leopard crossbody is a great touch to adding interest to any everyday outfit and the loafers are SO comfy. They have a sherpa liner inside so they feel like slippers. I find they fit true to size – maybe a half size big if they end up stretching a bit as I wear them more.
I love a versatile bag. The one I’m carrying above can be worn as a satchel, crossbody or shoulder bag. The color is a great neutral for fall and it’s faux leather so it’s easy to keep clean!
