Statement Summer Accessories 2019

Hello friends! Right before I started my blog I was keen on trimming down my closet into a capsule wardrobe (my summer capsule wardrobe is coming soon btw). I still love the idea – build off your best basics. This is where statement accessories come into play. They can really transform a great basic top or tee shirt dress into an outfit that gets you noticed. And not noticed for being tacky!

Many statement accessories are trend pieces that may go out of style in a few seasons which is why I love Sole Society. They have great quality statement summer accessories that don’t break the bank, but will hold up to a few years of regular use. Handbags are a place a lot of women invest in their wardrobe, but for a statement bag only for going, out I would not want to spend over $100.

In today’s post I’m going to focus on a couple of statement summer accessory trends I’m fond of this season. Sole Society really nailed these pieces and there’s enough variety that there’s something for almost everyone.

Straw Bags

Kimonos

Kimonos are a great third piece to step up your everyday outfit. Without the lace kimono I’m just wearing a tank bodysuit and shorts, but it looks like so much more by just adding one pretty layer. I actually grabbed this lace kimono to wear at the beach over my swimsuit but it’s also pretty for a night out! Whether you like lace, floral, or leopard – Sole Society has options for everyone’s tastes!

I’m wearing size small in the gray bodysuit and XS in the shorts (though a size small might have fit even better). I am not usually one for bodysuits unless I’m wearing something that conceals my lower belly a bit. The paperbag waist shorts are perfect for that! The embellished sandals I am wearing are SUPER comfortable and fit true to size.
