Wondering why your favorite bloggers keep using the hashtag #RStheCon? They’re headed to or at RewardStyle’s annual blogger conference in Dallas. Each April the affiliate network invites their top performing bloggers down to Dallas for learn and network with their peers and popular brands.
This year I am SO SO HONORED to have been invited to be a speaker. When the conference agenda was emailed out I was listed amongst others speakers as an “expert in the business”. Pinch me! I’m so flattered. I’ll be speaking on the power of Facebook growth to enhance one’s business. In 2018 I grew my Pinteresting Plans Facebook business page by about 50,000 followers.
Because style blogging is so image driven it seems like most bloggers are focused very heavily on their Instagram accounts and find it difficult to make time to learn the ropes of Facebook. The two platforms are so different. Hopefully my presentation can shed my light on tips I’ve used to see success that can help other bloggers grow their reach as well.
So from Thursday to Sunday I’ll be in Dallas having fun with my blog pals. You can follow along on Instagram stories for a lot of behind the scenes.
I just grabbed this new Sole Society weekender bag (the color is “buttercream”) to take with me to Dallas. It’s a bit roomier and more secure (lots of zippers) than my usual tote bag. If you’re traveling soon Sole Society offers a variety of “weekender” bags that are such a great size for overnights or taking a change of clothes along with you when you’re heading somewhere with kids. My mom has a whirlpool tub at her house so I bring a bag like this to her house with their PJ’s cause they love taking baths at her house.
These embellished slides were another thing I grabbed from Sole Society in anticipation of my travel. I wanted a flat sandal that had some cute detail – but I kept seeing rhinestones and I didn’t want to feel bedazzled. This pair is SO COMFORTABLE and someone already stopped me today to ask about them.
So anyway – wish me luck!! I’m really a sap traveling away from my kiddies. I wish I could bring my hubby and kids along with me but I’m going to be so busy at the conference I’d barely see them anyway. I’ll be posting lots of photos during and after my trip. Hope you have a great weekend!
