Nordstrom Winter Capsule Wardrobe 2022

I’m excited to share my updated winter capsule wardrobe with you today! Since the purpose of a capsule wardrobe is to keep your wardrobe to a minimum, I was intentional with sticking to a mostly neutral wardrobe color palette because they mix and match so well together. I selected all the pieces from Nordstrom because they carry a variety of high quality wardrobe staples.

Winter Capsule Tops & Sweaters

For this portion, I chose tops and sweaters with different necklines, lengths and textures to have lots of variety while still keeping a classic and timeless styles in mind.

Winter Capsule Outerwear:

A good winter wardrobe has everything you need for easy layering and will keep you warm. There are two types of outerwear I recommend having – a dressier coat and an everyday casual jacket. A tan coat and a black coat will be all you’ll need outerwear-wise to take you through the winter that will match with any outfit. For a more casual piece, you can’t go wrong with a puffer jacket.

Winter Capsule Bottoms:

For the capsule wardrobe bottoms, we’re covering all the bases with 3 leg styles: skinny, bootcut and straight. I also love these black leggings for doubling as everyday athleisure and with dressier outfits as well.

Winter Capsule Shoes:

I love a knee high boot to dress up an outfit. I always recommend a pair of comfortable white sneakers for any capsule wardrobe.
