If your Christmas wishlist includes over the knee boots these are by far my favorite (and also come in black and cognac).   They are so snug through the calves and the perfect heel to give height but remain comfortable enough for a long day on your feet.  I often wear these to work and have recently worn them walking laps around the mall trying finish my holiday shopping.   A lot of people have asked me about the sizing.  In my opinion they run a bit small.  I am a size 9, wearing a size 40, and they have stretched just a bit since I got them a few months ago.

If you have kids have you been sucked into the elf on the shelf?   My older son is 4 so this is only our 2nd year of really keeping up with it but it takes preparation.   We have our elf tied into our advent calendar tradition.   My son finds the elf each morning and he is holding a note with a number.  My son takes that number and opens the corresponding door on the advent calendar for a clue about where to find the surprise (dollar bin toy or candy).   Last year I was afraid my kids would find the elf stored all year in the basement so I hid him so well I couldn’t find him this year.  My mom saved the day and got us a new one but we didn’t start the tradition until December 3rd.

The only things not on sale today from this outfit is the moto jacket.   For good reason.   This suede moto jacket sells out all the time so there’s no need to push sales by dropping the price.   I am wearing a size small.   This jacket is GREAT quality and comes in 7 colors (I’ve also shown the light gray) and there’s a new holiday red too!

The white sweater is a new Free People Ivory V-neck that also comes in pink and gray.   I am wearing a small.  It’s slouchy – a wide neckline so it can drape off one shoulder.

My jewelry is from Baublebar who is having a sale right now – 25% off 2 or more items.   I have been wearing this statement bib necklace a lot lately.  I am not wearing the choker portion that also comes with it in these pictures.   I added some glam with a jeweled bracelet that is part of a 2 piece set.

My GiGi chain crossbody bag is monogrammed with my initials.   Gigi will monogram most of their bags which is always a great holiday gift to give.

Have you finished your holiday shopping?  I still have to find something for my brother.   He helped me make this gift guide for guys so I’m may just buy one of his picks.  I’d love to hear what you’re buying the guys in your life!

I’m going to be doing some giveaways this month with my email subscribers.  If you haven’t signed up I’d love to have you follow along and get to know you (the sign-up is in the sidebar of my homepage)!!  And stay tuned to my Instagram because I have an upcoming collaboration with Men’s Warehouse and my husband/photographer will be in front of the camera for this one.
