It’s Christmas week and it’s FREEZING here. My kids were about 5 feet away from me in these pictures being total terrors and I was trying to look cool (but not frozen cool) and calm while they were jumping in and out of the shots. Behind the scenes it’s usually quite different than what the pictures show! I wanted to get this outfit posted quickly because much of it is on sale. These are the over the knee boots I have been wearing most everywhere lately because they have a lower block heel so it’s easy for me to chase my kids around in them. I also love TAUPE – because it’s in between gray and brown so these boots match almost all my outfits.
My lace trim sweater is a thin knit and runs small. I am wearing a medium. It has the pretty lace trim but a plain neckline so it pairs well with a statement necklace (like mine which is on sale 25% off right now). The sweater is also on sale right now for around $25.
My beanie is from Forever21 but I couldn’t find the exact one online so I shared some similar options. Forever21 is a great place to shop for Winter accessories because the prices are so affordable if you are on the fence about trying something trendy like a fur scarf or pom pom beanie (or scarf).
That wrap jacket I’ve shown so many times because I love it!! I was looking at old pictures the other day and was wearing it holding my older son when he was just weeks old (he’s 4 now). It’s a pretty timeless coat and such a great neutral color. Because it does not button I wore it through both of my pregnancies.

December 26, 2016 at 3:45 pmhi!! I am a size 9 and have the size 40. when they first arrived I thought they felt a little snug but they have stretched just a bit. I would size up if you are between sizes so you have room for socks in the colder temps. 🙂
