I am sneaking in a late Sunday night post to share some new items from Ann Taylor while you still have time to take advantage of their President’s Day Sale! Many places across the country are starting to see sneak peaks of spring, but this is not one of them! I froze my buns off taking these photos in Connecticut this weekend. That said, I’ve been wearing my mules and ankle pants to try and will balmier weather this way!
In today’s post I’m focusing on two great blazers Ann Taylor just added that are perfect for spring. Both are easy to dress up or down for work or weekend outings. Next week I’ll be sharing a spring workwear capsule wardrobe with pieces exclusively from Ann Taylor!
Textured Pink Blazer
This first blazer is the perfect spring shade of blush pink and up close you can see a ribbed texture. I normally wear size 2 and I’m wearing size 0 above, so I’d recommend sizing down 1 for a more trim fit. I wore this blazer over a feminine white shell that could also be worn alone in warmer months.
I usually like to pair fuller pants like these joggers with more fitted tops. I usually think of joggers as having elastic cuffs at the bottom so these felt more like trousers to me. I’m wearing XS for reference, they are comfortable and in my opinion better suited for a more trim top. I am a skinny pant lover and my favorite work skinnies are from Ann Taylor and can be found here.
Neutral Textured Blazer
The second blazer I grabbed for Spring is neutral but also has great texture. This one is available in tall sizes, for reference I sized down one to 0 Tall in this blazer. The sleeve length is perfect for me, I am 5’11” for reference.
I also grabbed these skinny jeans in the tall size (and sized down 1). The tall length is actually long on me! You can see in the photos above I cuffed the jeans to give them more of the ankle fit I prefer with skinny jeans. I LOVE the high waist of these jeans and that they’re a part zip, part button fly. If you like your skinny jeans very snug like I do, size down one in the waist size.
SHOP THE POST
I’m going to be sharing a few ways to restyle these blazers tomorrow on Instagram stories if you want to tune in to catch that. Should you miss it I’ll save it to my HIGHLIGHT tab under my most recent Ann Taylor stories.
Thank you to Ann Taylor for sponsoring today’s post.
